Effective Date: 2026-05-12 Last Updated: 2026-06-17

This Privacy Policy applies to the Sudoku app ("Application") created by Yusuf Şirin ("Service Provider").

1. Data Stored Locally

All gameplay data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server. This includes game statistics, history, active game state, and app preferences. You can delete all locally stored data at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the app.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Application displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob may collect advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android), IP address, device information, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads. This data is transmitted to Google (United States) and processed under Standard Contractual Clauses or other equivalent safeguards.

This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. The Service Provider does not have access to data collected by AdMob.

3. Advertising Consent & Opt-Out

EU/EEA: Upon first launch, you will be shown an in-app consent form to choose between personalized or non-personalized advertisements. You can withdraw consent at any time by resetting your advertising ID in your device settings. Google may also use IP addresses for privacy-preserving measurement in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland (IAB TCF Feature 3). This processing is covered by the consent form shown on first launch.

iOS: The Application requests your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before accessing your advertising identifier. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Android: You can opt out of personalized ads via Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

4. Notifications

If enabled, the Application sends local push notifications only. No notification data is transmitted to any server. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

5. Your Rights

EU/EEA (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing. Since all app data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise these rights by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. For data processed by Google AdMob, contact Google directly via the link in Section 2. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
