Shapio ("the app") is made by Yusuf Şirin, an independent developer in Türkiye ("we"), the data controller for this policy. Contact: [email protected].

The app has no accounts and no servers of ours, and we never receive your gameplay data. The only data that leaves your device is what Google needs in order to show ads, and only in the ad-supported version.

What stays on your device

Your progress, settings and whether you own Shapio Plus are stored only on your device. We cannot see them and they are never sent to us or to advertisers. Deleting the app removes them; if you back your device up to iCloud or to a computer, a copy travels with that backup, which is yours, not ours.

Advertising

The ad-supported version shows ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC and its affiliates). Google is an independent data controller for what it collects through those ads, under Google's Privacy Policy.

To select, deliver and measure ads, Google may process:

This may include processing outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in Google's policy. We never send your progress, scores or streaks to advertisers.

Shapio Plus is a one-time purchase that removes all ads: on a device that owns Plus no ad is requested, no advertising identifier is used, and no consent or tracking prompt is shown.

In the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland

Google's User Messaging Platform asks for your consent before any ad is requested, and nothing is requested until you answer. You can change your answer at any time from Settings → Ad Privacy Options in the app.

App Tracking Transparency

Before your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) can be used to track you across other companies' apps and websites, the app asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you allow it, the identifier may be used to personalize the ads you see, which counts as tracking under Apple's definition. If you decline, or the prompt is never shown, the app requests non-personalized ads only and the identifier is not used to track you. You can change your answer in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
