Gün Gün ("the app") is developed by Yusuf Şirin ("we"). The app has no accounts and no servers of ours, and we never receive the content you create. Contact: [email protected].
Countdowns, memories, notes, character choices and settings are stored on your device, and reminders are scheduled locally. The AI note writer runs entirely on your device; only the model file is downloaded once from a public model repository (Hugging Face), which receives your IP address as part of that download. Deleting the app removes this data from the device.
Exports and iCloud backups go only to storage you choose and are not accessible to us. Your device's own system backup (Apple iCloud device backup, Android Auto Backup) may also include the app's local data under Apple's or Google's terms; you can turn this off in your device settings. When you share something from the app, it goes wherever you send it and is no longer covered by this policy.
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. Where required by law, Google's User Messaging Platform asks for your consent before any ad is requested, and the app's settings show "Ad Privacy Choices" for changing that answer later. On iOS you are also asked for App Tracking Transparency permission; if you decline, or before you answer, the app does not access your iOS advertising identifier (IDFA) and every ad is requested as non-personalized. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. The app works the same either way.
To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may process a device or advertising identifier, an approximate location derived from your IP address, ad-interaction data and diagnostic data; this may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Non-personalized ads still use some of this data for frequency capping, reporting and fraud prevention. Under some US state privacy laws, showing personalized ads may count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information; declining tracking, or withdrawing consent in "Ad Privacy Choices", opts you out. See Google's privacy policy and Google's advertising partner disclosure. Your countdowns, notes and memories are never shared with advertisers.
Gün Gün + removes all ads. Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play; we never receive your payment details.
Edit or delete your content in the app, delete the app to remove its local data, manage backups in your own cloud account, and change or withdraw ad consent as described above. Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to retain, export or delete on request. Rights over the advertising data held by Google can be exercised as described in its privacy policy.
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age where you live), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Updates to this policy are published at this address with a new effective date.
