Miralo is an iOS and Android vision board app provided by Yusuf Şirin. For support, privacy requests or content-rights concerns, contact [email protected]. Include your app version, device/OS and a short description of the issue. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or sensitive images. To restore Pro, use Restore Purchases with the original store account. Apple and Google Play purchases do not transfer between stores.
Local content and permissions. Boards, text, selected photos, preferences and Pro status are stored on your device. No app account is required; we do not upload your board content to our servers. Photo selection and saving exports use the system picker or the permissions needed for that action. Sharing, wallpaper changes and widget publication are initiated by you. Widgets keep a local copy of the selected board. Wallpapers and widgets, including on a lock screen, may be visible to others. Shared files are handled by your chosen service; device backups may also contain app data.
Ads and purchases. The free version may show Google AdMob banner and rewarded ads. Miralo requests non-personalized ads, which still involve data processing. Google and its advertising partners may process IP addresses (including approximate location), device/app identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics and consent choices for ad delivery, measurement, frequency limits and fraud prevention. Where required, Google's consent form is shown; revisit it through Settings → Ad Privacy Options when available. Pro users are not shown ads. We do not sell your personal data or provide board content to advertisers. Apple or Google Play handles payments; we do not receive payment-card details. Miralo reads purchase status to enable and restore Pro.
These providers, and Apple iCloud Mail for support emails, may process data outside your country under their own policies: Google Privacy Policy, Google partner-service data use and Apple Privacy Policy.
Usage statistics. Only if you agree, Miralo sends anonymous usage statistics to PostHog (EU cloud), our analytics provider: which screens are opened, when the app is opened, how many days ago you first opened it (a number, not a date), which features are used (in the editor only counts, such as how many photos and text edits you made in a session, never their content), and purchase and error events. Miralo asks once, on first launch, and nothing is collected until you choose Share statistics. Events never contain your photos, text, board names or file names and are not linked to your identity; they use a random identifier generated on your device. PostHog also receives standard device details (app version, device model and manufacturer, operating system version, screen size, language, time zone, network type and, on Android, the mobile carrier name). Location enrichment is disabled and IP addresses are not stored with events. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Usage statistics; turning statistics off stops collection and resets the identifier, so earlier events can no longer be associated with your device. PostHog acts as our processor under a data processing agreement that requires the same level of protection as this policy, and keeps events for up to one year, after which they are deleted. Because events are anonymous, we cannot look up the events that belong to you; contact us above with any question. We rely on your consent. See the PostHog Privacy Policy.
Support, security and deletion. We use your support email address and submitted information to answer requests, resolve issues and meet legal obligations. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed for those purposes or related disputes, then deleted. Local data uses the operating system's app storage protections; support email uses our email provider. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Delete boards in the app or uninstall to remove app-local data. Exported/shared files, wallpapers and backups may remain and must be removed separately. We have no server copy of your boards to recover. Apple and Google retain their own records under their policies.
Choices and rights. Manage photo permissions and backups in device settings. Applicable law may give you rights to access, correct, delete or port personal data, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent and complain to a data protection authority. Contact us above; provider-held data may also require contacting that provider. Where applicable, processing relies on contract performance for app/purchase functionality, legitimate interests in answering support requests, consent for usage statistics and, where required, for advertising, and legal obligations. Miralo is not directed to children under 13, or the higher local minimum age. We do not knowingly collect their personal data; contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal data.
Updates are published here with a revised date. Material changes to data use will be disclosed and new consent obtained where required.
